Questions before you commit
The things people actually ask on a first call, answered the way we would answer them in your kitchen.
What areas do you serve?
Palm Coast and Flagler County are home base. We also work regularly in St. Augustine and St. Johns County, and in Ormond Beach and Daytona Beach in Volusia County. If you are outside that range, call and ask — the answer depends on the project size.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are licensed and insured in the State of Florida, we pull permits under our own license, and we carry general liability and workers' compensation coverage. We will send current certificates on request before you sign anything.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes, and it is a real conversation, not a sales visit. We walk the space, talk through scope and budget honestly, and tell you if what you want does not fit what you want to spend. Design work begins after that, under a separate agreement.
How do you price a project?
Fixed-price contract from a detailed line-item scope, with allowances only where a selection genuinely has not been made yet. Changes go through a written change order priced before any work happens.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Every time. We pull the permit, schedule the inspections, meet the inspector on site, and close the permit out at the end. An open permit on your property can hold up a future sale, so this matters more than it sounds.
Can you work from my architect's or designer's plans?
Yes. We build from outside drawings regularly. We will review them for constructability and code compliance first and raise anything that will not pass inspection in Florida.
What warranty do you provide?
A one-year craftsmanship warranty on our work, on top of whatever manufacturer warranties apply to materials and appliances. Warranty terms are written into the contract, not promised verbally.
