The problem
A dated primary bath with a tub nobody used taking up the best quarter of the floor plan, and a shower too small to be pleasant.
What we did
Removed the tub, gave the footprint to a walk-in shower, and ran travertine continuously so the room reads as one volume instead of a set of zones. The floating vanity keeps floor visible underneath, which makes a small room feel larger.
The detail we would point at
The waterproofing you cannot see. Bonded membrane over the full wet wall, pre-sloped pan, flood-tested before tile. It is the reason this bathroom will look like this in fifteen years.
